You, Defined

Like cotton candy melting on my tongue, the sweetness of your kiss takes me away.
I am lost in your dreams, navigating my way through a magical forest; I find my way home by the stars in your eyes.
You're a painting, displayed proudly on the wall that surrounds my heart; every stroke a color I've yet to discover.
From your smile comes a joy in your laughter that I can feel inside of me; a song I play over and again.
This reticence only exists because the words I wish to say have yet to be written.
The comfort of you is an unfamiliar feeling, but one I perpetually desire; the beauty of you, a sculpture I cannot look away from.
Oh, how I wish to be a nightingale, so you might hear these words, carried by the tune that sings my soul.
